少子高齢化時代における生産年齢人口変化と地域成長変動経路に関する研究
―地域循環仮説（Regional cycle hypothesis）への適用：韓国のケース―

Abstract

地域は、労働・土地・資本といった三大生産要素をどれほど備えっているのかによって成長と低迷、そして衰退の過程を絶えず繰り返す。韓国の場合、これらの要素の中で最も根本的な要素として作用する労働力が急速に老いていく「人口早老現象」が国家レベルのみならず地域の至る所で現れている。地域経済の観点から見ると、生産年齢人口が集積している地域の成長率は高いのに対し、若年層の流出などによって高齢人口が多い地域の成長率は低い水準に止まっている。この結果は、今後の人口構造変化によって地域間の経済成長格差が拡大されうることを意味する。本稿では、人口要因と所得要因の両者間にはどのような関係があるのか、これらの要因の変化は地域成長変動経路にどのような影響を与え、各地域の成長パターンは如何に変動しているか、について追跡する。
