We regularly hold Staff Seminars for research presentations and information exchanges among AGI Researchers.
We usually hold these seminars in person at our institute. However, this seminar will be held online in order to prevent the spread of the novel Coronavirus.

“メッシュ統計から地域経済の変化を見る”

Abstract

本研究では、地域メッシュ統計を用いて地域経済の変化を把握する手法について検討する。
地域メッシュ統計は、緯度・経度に基づいて地域を隙間なく網の目の区域に分け、それぞれの区域に関する統計データを編成したものである。
地域メッシュ統計の長所としては、メッシュ相互間の計量的比較が容易であることや、地域事象の時系列的比較が容易である点がよく挙げられるが、
その分析には、階級区分図の塗り分けスケールや変化を検出する閾値設定の恣意性の問題や、調査手法の変更等による時系列的な統計の断絶などの課題もある。
今回の報告では、これらの課題を克服する既存手法を紹介した上で、この手法を北九州市周辺地域に適用した結果を示し、地域経済の変化について議論したい。
